Sick..what should I do?
I have had a bad cold the past few days. I stayed home from work yesterday but went in today. When I came home I was laying down and got the chills and was aching all over. I can barely eat(had some soup) and cannot sleep despite being so tired. I do not have a fever. (I keep checking).
Idk what to do. Should I go to my regular dr tomorrow? Or do I basically have to just let it run it's course since there is no fever?
I'm 33 weeks and miserable.

If you think it's just a cold/flu I would just stay home - rest up and stay hydrated. Unfortunately pregnant or not doctors can't prescribe anything for a cold.
If you feel like its becoming worse (strep throat,fever etc) call your dr

Thank you. I feel worse than the prior two days so im not sure what to do.

i had a cough for a few weeks w bad congestion
I got to the point where i called my reg doc and i ended up w Bronchitis

I would call the OB and see what they say. I was feeling pretty bad the other day and my SIL said when she was pregnant they told her to take Tussin ? Its ok for us to take but I would check with your dr also.

He said any cough syrup that is alcohol and sugar free is fine, as well as Benadryl, Zyrtec and Claritin. Also saline nasal spray. If there is no fever just have to tough it out. Lots of liquids and rest.

I took Claritin along with Robitussin DM when I was sick a few weeks ago and it helped a lot.
Elderberry syrup as well.
