Sick for Delivery
Any one have this experience? I have dev. a bad cold and my due date is just days away. Heading to my doc. tomorrow just wanted to know if any has had this exp? TIA

Im in the same boat as you! Due today and I have a sinus infection. I went to the Dr on Saturday. He put me on meds but i'm still not better. My dr said as long as I dont have a fever everything will be ok. If I dev a fever they wont let me near her once she's born. Feel better!

Ehhh are you serious? Good luck! I am so stressed out about it. DH is sick as well! Hope you feel better soon!

have had a nasty cold for over a week...i was so worried, but i asked my dr and he said the same thing about the fever - that it's the only reason they'd keep baby from you. he ALSO told me that when you are sick right before baby is born, the baby develops an immunity to what you've got. so you don't have to worry about YOU getting the baby sick. you can hold the baby, BF if you are planning to, and s/he will be fine. that really calmed my fears...thank you mother nature!!

WOW! That makes me feel a whole lot better! Bc all I keep thinking is who is going to take care of the baby if I am sick? Def. good to know! THANKS! :)
