Shower was this past Saturday!
Just wanted to share that my shower was this past Saturday and my mom (well, my dad too) did a great job with everythng and I appreciate it all. Our LO got so much stuff!

I completely understand that you are grateful for all that were there and for all the gifts you received...and I know you are venting....but honestly...I really don't believe that you are complaining about the things that you are.
I am sorry, but this is how I feel.
If 20 people didn't respond...whoever through the shower should have been calling around to find out what happen, to find out why that many people did not respond.
About people buying off the registry...just because there is a registry...doesn't mean everyone has to buy off it.
About your MIL, is she like that often? Some people are like that
And also....most showers are like that, that people leave during gifts....
Sorry if this offends you in any way...it is just how I feel
