Shower Vent
I am upset... Everyone who is doing my shower means well...I helped with some planning bc I am a party planner at heart but I didnt want to do everything because this was a shower for ME...
Well my shower is July 12th and my shower invites havent even went out bc my SIL made them and then left the country for over a month but put my MIL in charge for cutting and gluing everything and MIL didnt ask for help until now....i know prob 95% of the people know about my shower and I know almost everyone is coming...But I am sooo mad that my MIL hasnt sent them out but have them for a month already. No one is concern tho bc it still give ppl 2 weeks to rsvp and 1 month until the shower....
It could be my hormones that making me so upset....

I would be slightly annoyed too. Just finish them up this weekend and mail them out Monday. Everyone should get them Tues-Wed giving everyone 4 weeks until party, which I think is the norm any way.

I understand but that's if it gets done .... I have wanted them out last week. She had a month to put together

That's annoying she waited so long. I would be frustrated too. Hopefully you can get them out Monday and nobody will notice they are a little on the late side. At least most of your guests have been saving the date already!

That's 6 weeks away so I think if they go out this weekend that's a totally normal timeframe. Don't stress about it!

My Mom did this with my bridal shower in August but luckily everyone came. I am cringing knowing the same will happen for my baby shower lol
