Shower Vent
I'm 28 weeks pregnant and hormonal and there has been SUCH drama about my baby shower. I can barely stand it. I just need to vent. Everyone has been calling me and communicating with me about it and it just seems like nobody can get their act together to make any decisions, book anything, set anything up, or do anything that makes any sense whatsoever. I didn't even want a shower and now I really don't want one and I just want to scream. Sigh.
OK. Just needed to let that out!

I'm sorry you are going through this. I'm hoping that is gets better for you and that the shower goes well and you can enjoy this time. I understand your frustration! I keep telling my mom to leave me out of the planning but she keeps telling me things. I'm eventually going to stop answering my phone.
I wish you luck and again I really hope everyone gets their act together and you get to enjoy what is supposed to be a happy time.

I feel the exact same thing. I don't want one. I'd rather buy my own things. My family never steps up and my friends always have to pick up the slack and I'm sick and tired of it.

That's so frustrating! Sorry you have to deal with this.
I know it's hard, but just try to take it easy and not stress about it; it's not worth it.

It's very frustrating!!! I am sorry you are going through all this! I can relate! I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant and there is already drama!! My mom basically breathing down my SIL neck about a date!! My Sister has to give 3 months notice and needs to know by March. Shower gonna be in June..DH taking another Police test not sure in June when it's gonna be! I don't need to hear back and forth and all the drama!! It can be stressful and you shouldn't be dealing with that! It's supposed to be happy occassion and fun! Not filled with Shower Drama nonense!!!

That is frustrating! I swear, it's supposed to be a fun time but I ALWAYS hear about stress/drama regarding showers (happened with me too!).
I hope things get worked out quickly :) Hang in there!

Sorry that people are not making this easy for you. I hope things turn around!
This was the case for my bridal shower and it was soooo stressful and not as fun as it should have been. My mom cut out all the extra people and did most of it herself...so there was no stress for my baby shower and I was actually able to enjoy it.
Hope you end up enjoying it in the end!

There was drama about my shower so I told everyone to screw it and I ended up not having one....sometimes things aren't worth the drama
Oh and I still got tons off my registry from people
