shower today - little bummed UPDATE
So I am supposed to be having my shower today with all of my friends (had my small family one last week) and SEVEN people cancelled in the last 24 hours. . I'm just really bummed. .I know for a few of them they were sick, one went out of town, one had last minute obligations but still I'm kind of bummed. I know I'll have fun with the folks who are there I'm just kind of sad and but also feel bad for my friends who are hosting who went to all that work!
damn hormones making it worse. .
UPDATE . .
thanks everyone! so I did end up having fun even if it was a small group. . everyone brought their favorite book in addition to a gift and then we made an ABC book together out of foam and paint and stuff. . so everyone made a letter or two. (though we def didn't make it through the alphabet with the smaller turn out)
though I did hear one person making dinner plans on the phone with one of the girls who cancelled bc she was "out of town" so I have no idea what that is about but I just tried to let it go. .

that totally happened to me too!!! i was soooo upset!!! i cried 5x the day of my shower!!! and that was before it even started!!!
Try your best not to let it ruin your day, but i have to admit it was hard.. the emotions and hormones are tough to deal with. I was actually a mess the whole week leading up to it!!

Just think though, you will get together with the friends who couldn't make it and it will be even more special one on one time with them! Enjoy your day, you will have a great time :)

Yeah I think she had no idea I heard. . it was on the way out and she called her DH and said. . "did you talk to _____ and ___ about dinner tonight" I was like "really???"
the bailer is 1st trimester though so trying to give her the benefit of doubt. .
I swear I am not so sensitive not preggo!
