Shower Favors
What did everyone do/plans on doing? I'm trying to help my mom out. She keeps looking at trinkets, but I think edible is more practical. What do we get? Where do we go? Ahhh! Help!

We're probably going to go with sugar cookies. My sister loves to bake so she'll make them. I already have a baby foot coookie cutter that I got as a favor from a shower so we'll use that.
ETA: I am totally with you on the trinkets, I feel like they just sit around people's houses until enough time passes that they don't feel bad tossing them in the garbage.

We did edible favors. I HATE clutter and trinkets and have thrown out every single one I've ever received from showers/weddings, etc.
I had individually boxed cupcakes for my shower, they were a big hit! I had ordered at least 10 extra but every single one was taken so I didn't even get to have one

As of right now we are giving out star shaped cookie cutters with star shapes cookies my sister in law will make. I believe she is also making chocolate.

We did cake pops. They were a hit and everyone ate them. Most baby shower non-edible favors just get tossed (from what I have experienced). Cookies, chocolate anything they can eat is great.

We made choclate covered pretzel sticks. It only took a few hrs and I think only cost around $25 for all of them.
If I end up getting a trinket at any type of shower or wedding it ends up gettign thrown out.
