Re: shower door??
It really depends on the size, location of the shower and the layout of the room. In our master bath the shower is pretty large and has two glass walls so we went with a semi frameless. I could not justify spending the extra money on a totally frameless style.

Re: shower door??
Regarding a door vs. slider and the direction it should open I was told you want to have the door open away from the entrance to the bathroom. If there should ever be any sort of shower accident or medical issue where somone needs to be physically helped or lifted from the shower you want the door opening away from the room entrance so there are no obstructions. The last thing you want at a time like that is to have the EMT's unable to get you or DH onto a stretcher and out the door easily if the shower door were obstructing the way. Perhaps it's a bit of "worst case scenario" paranoia but it made a lot of sense.

Re: shower door??
Shower doors are made from glass with small bathing space. It is available through different size. Now a days in the market frame less shower doors are gaining its popularity. There are so many varieties available like swing or bypass doors, sliding doors, pivot doors with headers, steam fit shower doors etc.
