shower date question

my step sister and step mom are throwing me a shower for my dads fam (my parents are obv divorced).

my stepsis just emailed me to say it'll prolly be 3/20 (and asked if thats ok). she's going to be out of state the beginning of march.

my edd is 4/16

do u think 3/20 is too late?
should suggest they try to do it like 2/27? will they even have enough time to get that together since its already the 2nd week of jan?

You should be fine with 3/20, that's still a month before you are due.

I think 3/20 is fine also. Mine is 2/28 and I'm due 3/24.

I would have it sooner personally. Who knows how you'll be feeling at the end? Also, you'll want the last month to tie up loose ends---wash clothes, pack hospital bag, etc.

i'm going to call my mom and see when she wanted to do it...if hers was late as well...then i might keep this since most of u arent like ommggg that is sooo late.

my cousin went 1 month early (emergency) and my bf's sister went 1 month early (no reason)...so im just nervous!

I had my shower at 37.5 weeks...I had my DS 10 days later and everything was fine.

IMO, if someone is throwing you a party, you can't really complain too much about the date
