Show me your "Mommy" jewelry...
Not sure what I want but I'm looking around.
Birthstones, engraved, etc...
I'm thinking about the "shoes" but at over $400 each I'm 
I'm leaning toward charms but something that can be boy/girl coordinated.

I don't have a pic, but I have a round silver disc for each of them. On the front is their first & middle names, on the back, birthdate. I wear them both on a silver box chain all the time. Picked a box chain b/c they are stong and Andy grabs for it all the time.
I figured when they are older Sarah will get hers and Andy's wife will get his.

I got a locket when she was born (white gold) from fortunoff (sorry no pic) and then for my bday I got a hinu necklace ( disc with her name on front and dob on back). I did it in gold b/c I already had the white gold locket. I love the way it came out. I only wish I had realized how delicate it is. It looks like it'd be more casual and durable b/c of the ball chain but instead it's pretty dainty so I can't wear it around Elli too much yet b/c she yanks so hard but I love it. And I did it b/c I can add another for each add'l child. I was going to get this from Walmart before I found the hinu. First image is the hinu and second is from Walmart.com.

For those of you that have the shoes...
where did you get it from?
Did they have a gender neutral shoe or something very boy or girl?
I'd like to get the shoes but as my kids have the same birthstone... I'd rather get one that's more boy and one that's more girl... KWIM.

My mom and dad bought it for me-- I believe they went to a jeweler when they were in Cape Cod... but I found the pic of it online.... do a search for mothers jewelry..

i have this one- it's pink tourmaline, the birth stone for October (also Opal, which I don't love)-

edited to add- i got it in all white gold, and it was a pretty good deal, $319

You should check out the Commack Jewlery Exchange.....if you go in, it's the 3rd booth on the left (I believe). They have a nice selection of shoes. Again they are pricey but so nice.
