Diaper Bag!! I can't decide... so many to choose from. Do I go designer or not? Ugh... I did like OIOI, but need some reviews.

This is my own opinion as a BTDT and doing it again mommy  ....Designer looks cute, and maybe for a short trip out it works, but practical with lots of storage space and compartments were the way to go for me ( especially in the first at least 6 months- 1year)...This time I got a Columbia, in basic black- can't find the one I started out w/ for my DS and I loved it ( I went through many , they just get wrecked somehow  )

I didn't go designer. I registered & received a carter's brown suede like one from BRU. Honestly, I'm not the designer kind of gal for something that's going to be holding diapers and formula. I cared more about the size, easy to clean and the inside being vinyl than anything else

I don't have pics but I have a few so far LOL..was goig to go with a coach one but decided based on recommendations to get 1 petunia picklebottom....1 other "name brand" from babysteals.com and also plan on getting a bag I had seen at Nordstrom;more of a going to beach....park....sfotball game type of durable bag..but super trendy.......
I think its relaly personal preference; I have heard to make sure though when buying that the bag you purchase comes with the removable changing pad...a friend of mine worked at BRU and said people would steal them out if theirs got ruined..NICE!

DH has his own diaper bag I got him. Plus I also registered for a smaller one that matches all my stuff!

I ordered a Vera Bradley one a couple of weeks ago since they were having a sale. My friend has one and she loves it.
DH wants a Diaper Dude one for him so it's less girly!

I have 2 for me and 1 for DH. I have the Coach large messenger. I love it. It is a lot more spacious than I thought and the compartments are great.
I also have a graco one that I use when someone else is watching G. It is not my fav, and is rather smallish even though on the outside it looks bigger than the Coach.
DH has a Diaper Dude bag. I love this bag as it is compact and light, but has a ton of space and compartments (which is great for DH so he does not have to *dig* for stuff when he is out with G).
I was looking at the Coach and the Burberry messenger (both comparable in price) and I liked the Coach better. JMO
