Should I start...
using my OPK now. I have a 31 day cycle and I'm only on CD8. I was going to start testing on CD11 but today I've had dull cramping in my lower stomach. I'm wondering if I'm getting ready to ovulate.

Should I start...
I would suggest starting your OPK on D10 with first day of AF being CD1...Take your OPK daily from CD10 between 11am-2pm on your 2nd urine of the day.
If you get a smily face that will indicate you are "going to ovulate WITHIN the next 12-36 hours" so BD that night and the following 3 nights after that...
If you really want to pin point your LH surge then take an OPK at 11am and 11pm from D10 forward as soon as you get the :) then start having sex ONCE A DAY NO MORE THEN ONCE A DAY.

i wouldnt bother this early if your cycle is very consistent. there are about a million reasons you may have abdominal cramping. chances are that with a 31 day cycle you arent ovulating or even near ovulating at cd8. if your cycle is 31 days to the day EVERY month think its a waste of money to use OPKs before cd12 or so.
