Should I just cut her bangs? Any pics???
I've been trying the clips to keep her bangs out of her eyes and it looks really cute, but she keeps ripping them out. And I just found out this morning that the daycare needs to use rubber bands instead of clips because of a choke hazard. So, of course we wanted to grow all of her hair out, but do you usually cut the bangs of a 16 month old?
Does anyone have pics of their little girls that DID NOT cut their bangs?

Re: Should I just cut her bangs?
We did. DD's hair kept growing down into her eyes. Finally DH got fed up and trimmed it- it looks like bangs, but we can also sweep it to the side so it's not like we are stuck with a heavy "bangs" look. And it keeps her hair out of her eyes

I gave dd very thin bangs and than I use rubber bands to either put in pig tails, pony tails or 1/2 up 1/2 down. Bangs are really easy to trim.

I don't have pics, but i never cut bangs, and my DDs refuse to use clips. finally, it's at a point where they can be swept to the side on their own and not look so messy. I didn't want bangs and figured if i cut them, i was just prolonging the growing out stage.

I am confused about what you are asking LOL
Are you asking if *I* cut her bangs? No, I am too scared too
But I got her bangs cut the week of her first birthday. I have a lady who charges me $5 and I have to get them cut every 6 weeks or so, I make sure she cuts them VERY short so they stay for a long time AND I make sure I get them cut at least two weeks before anything important like Easter so they are a good length.
I love bangs on little girls, DD has very thick bangs!

Adorable!
I HATE bangs...looks cute on some kids but having had them my entire life I know how hard they are to grow out so I will never dare do that to my daughter! She looks like a mess these days but I refuse to cut her bangs! She also pulls bows/clips out - I sweep them to the side. She looks like a boy the way I have to comb her hair but better that than bangs IMO!!!
