I always let her nap in the swing at that age.

If either of my kids slept in the swing, I let them. Sometimes that is the only place they'd take naps.

my DS is 8 months today & still takes his nap in the swing bc it is the only place that he will truly sleep. DH & I will be trying this weekend to transition him to his crib or PNP bc he is approaching the weight limit

DD is the same age. I usually do one nap a day in the swing. And I try for at least one in her crib to get her used to it.

DD napped in the swing for the longest time. We LOVED that thing! Getting rid of that swing was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do Chat Icon

DD takes her morning nap in her swing everyday. She sleeps through the night in her crib so I do not mind her in her swing for an hour or two
