Should I call the GYN?

Ok so LAST Tuesday was my last active pill. THIS Tuesday I finally get some brown spotting ( sorry for TMI ). So that continues for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Today there is nothing.

I just thought that I would get something more considering I didn't start the new pack on Sunday. My body could still be all messed up from going on a different pill, being on nothing midcycle and then back to the full pack of Loestrin. I just expected more and I can't even count this cycle -Like i have no idea when I will O or evenwhen AF is going to come again. boo.

Re: Should I call the GYN?

totally up to you
I wouldnt call, your body is still adjusting

if you are serious about TTC I would start charting when AF shows up - it is the best way to track "O" and to learn SO much about your body and your cycles

ok so the "spotting " that you had, could have been it
it is normal to not get a real period after stopping BC -
If you want to know if you are ovulating, I would check CM and use OPK -
did you have normal cycles before BC?
you could ovulate anytime, even next week which would be 2 weeks from last pill

Re: Should I call the GYN?

Similar thing just happened to me. I took my last active pill in June. I got AF on time this month, but it has been light spotting, some brown and some red. It's nothing like I usually get.

It takes time for your body to adjust to coming off the pills. I know how frustrating it is because we are actively TTC and I couldn't figure out if this counted as AF or just spotting. Give it 2-3 cycles and if your cycle and period don't regulate by then, then I'd call the doctor.
