Should I be mad????
I've been at work all day and DH has been home playing video games. I'm getting done with my last appointment around 6pm and DH calls me to tell me that his brother would like to eat dinner with us. Fine...its last minute but i'll run to the supermarket when i'm done and grab more ground beef for the tacos.
I'm on my way home after the supermarket and DH calls me to say that they've eaten the last of the shredded cheese making nachos (and sitting on the couch playing video games) and would like me to stop and get more cheese! Fine...I have to stop AGAIN!
Its now 7pm when i get home and i start asap on dinner cause i have alot of work to do before Greys starts at 9pm. I make dinner, call them both to come and eat and then my phone rings. I take it cause its a business call and I come to the table 15 mins later only to find that they have saved me only 2 tacos! 2!!!!!!! I'm fuming cause now i'm starving and they've eaten everything!!!!!
I hate how inconsiderate they are sometimes!!! how do you come to visit someones house and eat all the food before everyone has had a chance to sit at the table!?!?!?!?

1) I would be mad that they asked you to stop not once, but TWICE on your way home from work when they easily could have gone to the store.
2) I'd be PO'ed that they didn't help you cook dinner.
3) I'd be furious that they didn't wait for you to eat.
4) I'd be livid that they only left you 2 tacos.

You nailed it!! ITA with this!! I would have told him "You have a car right?..You go shopping and I'll meet you back at the house"!!

i've calmed down, thanks girls (and kevin). im trying to be as good a wife as possible as this is DH's fave time of the year (he's a die hard Yanks fan). he's been waiting all week for tonight and i was trying to be as understanding as possible. but im just exhausted!
no, he's not out getting me food. they're both on the couch screaming at the TV. im in my office eating a bowl of ice cream.
