Should i be concerned i havent gained any weight??

Basically im almost 22 weeks, and i had bad morning sickness my first trimester. I gained alittle back like 3 lbs. But im still under my pre pregnancy weight.When does the weight start to come on??

if there was any reason to be concerned, your doctor would tell you.

the first thing i have to do at every appointment is get on the scale.

this week - i lost 5 pounds. the nurse got a little anxious, like, um....5 pounds Jessica??? She was weird until i said - i'm a gestational diabetic...i'm following the diet. THEN and ONLY then did she say, okay then, no problem, good!

if they are worried, it's NOT something they will keep to themselves.

i wouldn't worry about it at all - everyone gains at different rates. as long as your baby is growing and your doctor isn't concerned, it's just fine

my doctor isnt worrried, she said im lucky. i get weighted ever week at her office. And the baby is perfectly healthy. i just think its odd.

I only gained 8 lbs with DD. My Dr was not concerned at all.

No - by week 22 I had gained about 7 or 8 lbs .........

Week 33 I've gained 20 lbs !!

At around 22 weeks, I weighed about the same as my pre-pregnancy weight. Then by Week 28, I gained about 10 pounds. Don't worry. I think your baby only weighs like 1 pound or less at this point.

I'm just over 17weeks and I'm sort of int he same situation. I had m/s int he 1st tri and lost weight. Now, in the 2nd trimester, I've gained some fo it back, but I'm still 2 lbs. under my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm not gaining AT ALL -- its like I've been stuck at this weight for weeks.

My doctor hasnt really said anything, and I'm happy in a sense because I look great, but I'm a little concerned that the baby isnt getting what it needs.

as you know, I barely had any m/s and gained 3 pounds in the first 16 weeks, then lost 4 pounds since and the dr isn't concerned at all. he's happy!!

unless your dr says something, probably not...i am 25 weeks and gained like 10 lbs total.....and 7 of those were in the past 4 weeks ///not sure why.....

I have only gained 2lbs and I am 20 weeks. My doctor doesn't think it's a big deal and trust me, I asked about it I am sure you are fine too
