Those who gained weight on BC...
Did you lose it when you went off that particular pill? I have been on 5 pills in the past 5 months and my body is hating me for it. Awful skin, awful weight gain....
I am hoping the weight won't be too hard to get off.

Thanks, but over the past few months everything has just gone downhill. I think my body doesn't know what to expect from being on so many different pills! I am gaining weight, breaking out, and getting depressed as a result (or maybe a side effect, hard to tell!).

I've gained weight on every single pill i was on...some pills it was really easy to loose the weight...I went off the pill to loose weight before my wedding...I went back on BC and gained some weight back which i'm not thrilled with...my skin was always great with i was on BC..but..I'm just glad i'm not the only one who gains a ton of weight on BC...

I'm talking like 8 lbs. between 5 different pills. I just don't know what to do anymore. I can't keep trying to find the perfect pill because all this switching is so awful for my body.

i gained weight on OTC lo (about 10 lbs)
i just switched to Loestrin - I have lost 2lbs in the first three weeks - i dont feel as bloated anymore either.

I've heard that seasonale is pretty good...i also hear rave things about Yaz...IMHO i wouldn't worry about 8lbs...come pills i was gaining 15-20 lbs all WATER weight...it stunk!!!! but if it really bothers you, i would talk to your gyno

I am actually going off the pill for two months because my body is telling me I need a break.
I have been on Desogen for 4 years and I am afraid to switch to another pill because I have had a lot of problems finding one I like-- and to keep swtiching and not letting your body get adjusted is NO fun.
So, I will let you know in the coming weeks-- since this week would be my placebo week anyway. I am also trying to lose like 8 lbs myself-- so I am hoping that not being on BC will jump start.
