short term disability
my employer informed me that i will be getting this, she said i get a persent of my salary...anyone else getting this...what is the norm % or is every company different? TIA

That's your company's plan so you'll need to look into what they provide as it differs co by co.

Mine is terrible, i first have to use all my sick days which i have 34 i beleive, then anything after that is 170 a week...hahah but once it goes past 8 weeks (including sick days) its not valid....

If you were getting STD from the state you would be receiving approximately $170/week minus taxes $15X/week. Since your company offers a % then this is company specific. At my company we receive 6 weeks 100% and then 66 2/3% after that time. It also depends on years of service.
