Short of breath at 25 weeks?

I've been short of breath lately...not all the time...sometimes it's when I'm talking and walking at the same time, but it's often when I'm just sitting. Some books say that it's the baby growing and my diaphram having less room, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks!Chat Icon

yup, normal, its bc your baby is resting in ur rib cage and pressure on your lungs, i was so uncomfortable until a like a week ago when she dropped and I can breathe a bit better now!!!!

yeah-- I get this too. I have had variations of shortness of breath throughout the pregnancy-- either I lose my breath, or I feel like I can't seem to get enough air. It blows-- no pun intended!

Yup- I have this tooChat Icon But its also a sign of anemia so make sure you get enough iron. I found out yesterday that I was low again this pregnancy and started on iron pills again today. I am hoping it helps.

I have it too. I go to the gym and after 10 mins, I'm already out of breath...so annoying but very normal.

I did experience this around the same time as you...I was told that the lil one was putting pressure against my diaghram...it soon went away...I will definately bring up to your ob at your next visit...
