Shooting Pains down there
What causes this? I'm 39 weeks,and yesterday had a lot of shooting pains in my vag.....IS this a sign of progress??? I want things to get started, so I dont have to be induced!!

hahah Elizabeth! I actually felt them earlier than this- probably around where you are now. Then they stopped, and yesterday I felt them a lot!
and yes, it's definitely painful! I was at work and wanted to scream owwww every time!

I had this before. Now I have a longer pain/ache in that area after sitting or laying for a while. I feel like I'm fighting gravity and holding him in, but I know this isn't true.

totally normal, I had those pains since I was about 34 weeks. The dr said it was bc the baby was pressing against the pelvic bone.

I have had them come go..mine feel similar to bad menstral cramps. I have heard that close to labor they are a sign that something is brewing
