SHOES - desparate for help
After posting about pain from my bra I also want to post about how much my feet hurt from every new pair of shoes I buy. I'm spending money like it's going out of style (not that I have it either) trying to find things to make me look better - I needed cheering up and a makeover since my pre-baby clothes no longer fit. I'm at a point I hate shopping between expense and fit and nowadays - PAIN!
Anyway - my job is one that has me standing on my feet all day... however it's also a conservative type sales job so I'm in suits most of the time. I'd like something with a small heal (I'm petite), but it has to be COMFORTABLE. The new style with the pointy toes - it's horrible! Way too narrow by the toes - and I have small narrow feet so I have no idea how people cope with this style. I miss the wide toe and chunky heals. Anyway, any ideas for a comfy show that looks good with suits - a brand is fine. I'd like to stay at about the $100 price range, but if it's really great I'll spend the cash. I tend to live in one pair of shoes (sad I know) b/c it's so hard for me to find good ones that don't hurt that can last an 8 hour day on my feet. I bought a new pair at TJ Max the other day - my heal looks like a dog bit me. Today I actually work socks and boots over them b/c the cuts on my feet were so bad from the shoes I wore yesterday. I want something that lasts so I tend to stay away from suede since I've found it harder to care for and you have to stay out of bad weather in them.
I also need some nice boots. I hate living in only 1 or 2 pairs (and everything I have is black), but I am spending so much money trying to find something comfortable that when I finally do I'm broke and can't find a second comfortable pair for another year or so.
Ideas?

I tried these on in black at Macys today and they were really comfortable. I was looking for flats though
They're $79 but if you order from the website this weekend, I think they're 15% off when you use your Macys card.

I would try Aerosoles-every pair I've ever had has been so comfy and they do have some cute shoes these days---they usually have cute boots too...not cutting edge, but in style enough....
Maybe like these:

My mother has these from Zappos. She wears them all day, every day... Says they're very comfortable. I have a similar pair from Kohl's - not too farty looking either.
Link to Zappos - $41.00

Re: SHOES - desparate for help
what about a wedge? I typically find them more comfortable than a small heel and they still give you height.
I would try a naturalizer or aerosole store. Or even Nordstrom. if they give you blisters - bring them back - they'll accept them!
