Re: shift in the air, fallen leaves

It's always chillier in Aug IMO- especially at night and in the morning.
As for the leaves, the rainstorm the other day really caused a TON of leaves to come down in my yard and into my pool.

Yes and it's getting me both excited and upset. I have our annual jimmy Buffett concert next week and I can't believe it's upon us already!

Yes, and it is making me a bit nervous. I had several different people tell me that the fall weather is coming in early and that it is going to get cold real sooner than we thought.

Re: shift in the air, fallen leaves

Yep, my yard is full of leaves. Lots of raking this weekend.

I'm kind of enjoying it - we slept with the window open last night and it felt so good walking to the train this morning

THIS. It was 58 degrees by me this morning. it was such a cold chill. For an august day, it felt pretty October to me... I'm terrified of the winter we will have. Not enough hot weather this summer.

Please, I won't be able to handle a winter like we had last year!!! There is no way I'll be able to care for a newborn and deal with running my practice at the same time. Honestly, if it's as bad as last year, I might have to resign, caring for baby boy will be my #1 priority.

It sucks, I thinks it's too chilly in the morning for early August. Winter was way to long and summer way too short. But I think I'm just a killjoy today.

Yes! Fall is my favorite season, but I like to enjoy each season. I'm nervous that this winter is going to be really bad again...
