Re: Shellfish...
I won't lie, I have a bad shellfish allergy, so I'm biased against it....
BUT.... shellfish are filterfeeders, and tend to accumulate more nasty stuff than other fish. I wouldn't be surprised if it was recommended that you eat it in limited quantities, just like large fish (tuna....)

Re: Shellfish...
You shouldn't eat too much of it, like more than 12 Oz or so. Otherwise yum!!

Re: Shellfish...
I love love shellfish, but I've decided to stay away during my pregnancy. I'm not good at limiting myself so I won't have it at all

Re: Shellfish...
My doc doesn't care what i eat as long as it's in moderation. Balanced and in small amounts I can have sushi, med-rare meats, tuna, shellfish etc.
So my current 'plan' is write down what I write and the usual suspects are limited to small amounts and only once a week.
I would say call your doc.
