Shellac rocks my socks!
I can't get over how awesome this stuff is. I had mine on for 2 1/2 weeks and no chips!
Went back today and got a new color. Love that it dries so quick and it's SO SO SO shiny!
Anyone else a fan!?

I got it on Saturday morning for Easter, it was my 1st time. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are no chips, its soooo shiny too Well worth the $23!!

I asked my nail girl and she said that it does cause damage to your nails especially if you do it long term. Each time they remove it she said they need to file themdown and that always makes your nails thinner in addition to the chemicals. She said to do it once in a while is fine, but not more than that.

I get mine done in nyc. It doesn't wreck your nails. My nail girl said gel is horrible on the nail, but the shellac is fine - no worse than a manicure.
Also, my nails are so frail and never grow - EVER. They always crack, bend, or break. With the shellac they are the longest and nicest looking they've been in a long time!

I need this in my life.
I have decided that one of the worst things in the beauty world is the regular mani.
I am done. Finished.
it is the biggest waste of time and money on the planet- 1 day and chips.
Looks horrible by day 2 no matter how much you spend, what polish brand, what top coat, etc.
Only issue is I need to find a place that does it by me.
So far I only found salons/spas- and they all charge $30.
I feel like that's steep.
I wish there was a regular nail place that did it out here in Suffolk.

I love it too. And when I get it removed, I never had my nails filed down. they look great, just like they removed polish.
I just wish it wasn't $30. I don't get it that often, I would if it were $20-25.

I was against getting ANYTHING done to my nails again but just started getting this done and I am NOW A BELIEVER!
I always had Light concept nails, UV gel, acrylics, etc. you name it, I had it.. for years i always had somethign on my nails and when I finally removed everything my nails were horrid! Like potato chips! they would split, bend, rip off and break all the time..
I just stuck to manis and they finally got to the point where they looked nice and strong but no matter how good your nails are, a mani would always chip after a few days.. it was so annoying!
I read reviews here and online at other sites and dedided to try it out and I really, really like it!
I had fedora put on first and it lasted a few weeks.. still very shiny and nice.. the reomoval was painless and NO filing.. whoever had hers filed off should be wary of what it is that they are putting on your nails because they are not supposed to file your nail.. they can shape the nail but not the top of your actual nail.. after I removed it, my nails were still the same.. no difference..
I just had my second shellac in french mani and it looks fabulous! i love that it lasts so long and they are shiny and my nails seem to still be strong underneath.. I will update if I see otherwise ;)

I love this!!!
It is worth the $30-$40 that I have been charged at different salons for it.
It last more than 2 weeks...I usually go at the start of the 3rd week to have them re-done.
I love that it looks like I have a fresh manicure for pretty much the entire 2 weeks. The start of the 3rd week it starts to chip or get dull.
My nails look great. They are stronger than when I was getting a regular manicure and much longer.

Sure. Its in Glendale. Myrtle Avenue between 67th street and 68th. Its called Divine Nails. They did a really good job from what I can tell (Ive had it for 5 days now and its looks FRESH)-- $23 too!!

I go on the UWS in manhattan - 72nd street - called Nails by Young. They charge $30
