She wont stop screaming when...
Others hold her now! DD is 15 weeks and has always loved being held by anyone. I bring her to see my parents 3x a week and usually adores them, but for the past few days she screams and freaks out when anyone but me and DH hold her. I dont know what to do or if this is even normal.

I went through (still do) that from 5 mnths to present..6mnths.
Its totally normal, if baby does not remember or regonized the person they freak out! It will get better once she or he is exposed to that person...
My DD daddy loves it that she is selective!

This started happening with DD around 4.5 - 5 months. Although there might be a very small side of me that is happy that she only wants me, the reality is that it makes it very difficult in social situations! Anytime we go somewhere or have a family function, i basically have to hold her the ENTIRE time!!! Ugh.

Are you in the room when they hold her? Why not try leaving the room and letting your parents hold her, and see if she calms down. The fact that you are their may be the reason shes crying b/c shes going to want to be with you or your dh over anyone else.

DD is doing this too...shes 5 months now and has been doing it for the last few weeks...if i have to leave her with someone for an appt or something I try to leave when shes being fed...isnt quite as hard on her then...but if myself or DH is around...high pitched screaming until she gets back to one of us!

DD is 8 months and this is happening with everyone, except DH of course. It really upsets people but I just keep telling them "it's not you, she has separation anxiety".
