She is here, plus warning TMI
Ok, so today AF is here which totally freakin stinks, but now that she is here I am starting to worry that something might be wrong.
Background: got PG first month off BCP with DS - wasn't trying, just seeing what happened, I had no idea when i'd be ovulating and I think we ended up only having sex 2 or 3 times that whole month.
Fast forward 3 yrs, TTC for #2
June and July we didn't "try" just stopped being careful. August we tried a little, September we BD'd day before and after O and got PG, 1 week later I miscarried. Dr said it was so early, no D & C or any other recourse necessary. October BD'd once around O time and November and December used OPK and REALLY tried with no success.
Now, for many of you you may see no reason to be concerned, but I haven't gotten there yet. I know its taking me a long time, but I think the background info is important. We're almost there, and this is where the TMI comes in. Ok, so now that I am using OPK and peeing in a cup and paying much more attention to what is going on with my body I see "stuff" in my urine. like white string-like substances. It is hard to explain, but is almost like when you go the bathroom after uncareful sex, but this happens at any given time thru out the month. Or if you have ever dropped a drop of kahlua in a colored liquid (any one familiar with the buggar in the grass shot? - don't ask!).......Do you think this is something to be worried about? Could it be related to the mc? Is it something that could have always been happening and I just never noticed? It can also be on the toilet paper after I wipe sometimes, but I was never really looking at the toilet paper before.......sorry, I know, I said there was tmi!

okay, i shall be frank and completely honest.
i had noticed that 'stuff' in my urine when POAS'ing before - because i always peed into a cup...
now that i am pregnant - i have to pee in a cup for every doc visit (using FMU) and i have seen that 'stuff' more and more often as well.
I would mention it to the doc - but i don't think it would cause alarm....

Honestly.. it sounds like EWCM!
Does it look like snot or eggwhites? Because that's exactly what EWCM looks like!

it seems to be white, not clear.......it seems more chunky. lol, sorry I have to laugh at myself for having this conversation on the world wide web!

You did? you do? Whew...ok. I didn't remember seeing anything when I was PG with DS and pee'ing in a cup, but I probably wasn't looking at it as much either.

YES - i always noticed it before - like, what on EARTH is that??? I never thought to ask the doc about it - hmmm...maybe i should've.. I just remember always peeing in the cup and seeing that stuff like, why isn't my pee just pee???
I will DEFINITELY ask on the 29th - my next appointment, where i have to bring pee in a cup...i'll ask about that!!!

What your describing sounds totally normal, to me. But if your concerned, it never hurts to ask.
