Shark Steam Mop
Does anyone have this? If so, do you like it? Also, can you fill them with regular water or do they require distilled water?
Thanks!!

HUGE fan. DH broke our first one (his fault) and I tried a Black and Decker out, hated it. We went and got another Shark

Re: Shark Steam Mop
Oh good, I'm glad you guys like it. But when researching a little over the weekend I heard something about having to use distilled water and I thought that might be annoying. Thanks for the input!

Re: Shark Steam Mop
It changed my life in regards to cleaning floors. I'm fanatic about clean floors. Borderline insane. I even spray down diluted bleach and water first on my tile in my foyer and kitchen to get it extra clean. One of the best things I ever invested in .

Re: Shark Steam Mop
We have one, it's sitting in our laundry room broken. It crapped out after a year of what I'd call minimal use (our old house only was mostly carpet, it was only used in the main entryway, kitchen and bathrooms). I wouldn't buy one again. I also dislike how they imply that these steam mops sterilize or sanitize things. I don't believe they kill any bacteria, as the floor is cool to touch immediately after the mop passes over it. I've used 2 of these types of mops and they do a fair job cleaning, but I feel it's mostly hype. I prefer my swiffer. Stepping down now . . .

Id like to know this too. Will it warp laminate floors? It can be used on ceramic tile, right?

Re: Shark Steam Mop
Honestly, as far as the distilled water goes, I think if you are using it rarely, you MUST used distilled water (otherwise the particles from tap clog the steam and it stops working). If you are using several times a week, tap water is probably okay.
I am not a huge fan of it, it broke down on me too many times (again not regular use, but still). Also, be sure not to keep the cloth on it or it will also clog up.
