sex with DH during first few weeks
So DH and I haven't  for 3 weeks now , basically since I found out  first I have no desire and mostly bc of all the spotting I was having in the beginning I was worried to do anything. Then I called my OBGYN and she said to wait a bit , till after the blood tests. Tests came back normal, but still no Then yesterday ( would have been my O day this month) I had a bit of discharge again, it wasn't blood or anything, just very light brown and it was only one time on a TP , I went to my gyn, she did a sono and saw a sac, she said everything looks perfectly normal , blood tests show very good count and everything looks fine, nothing to worry about. Have to go back in 2 weeks. She didn't say about and I forgot to ask. If I call her I'm 99.9% sure she'll say it's ok. But I'm nervous to do anything .
I didn't have all this anxiety, fears and concerns with my first and I don't know why I'm always so worried (constantly) with this pregnancy .
So anyway do you /did you with your DH first few weeks? if not how long did you wait?

I think my doctor told me to abstain until about 10 weeks. I went through IVF so I'm sure he was just being way conservative.

We have been since our BFP and thankfully no spotting or anything. the Doc said it is perfectly safe.

With my DD we waited until almost 16 weeks b/c I was so paranoid, this time around, I feel better about it, so it's been the usual since we found out we were pregnant. I love pregnant !!!! It's the best!!!

DH and I haven't since we conceived! I have like ZERO desire to do so! I had so much cramping and abdominal pain for the first few weeks, my RE told me not to BD until I felt 100% better. I still dont feel 100%...but I also have no desire to BD. My poor hubby! I guess Im gonna have to bite the bullet and do it one of these days!

We did right away...actually my DH was nervous at first so we waited a few days I think until the dr gave us the ok. But we never stopped DTD throughout pregnancy.
If your dr says it's fine, DO IT!!!!

I am very very very very embarrased to admit this..but me and DH actually haven't BD since we found out we were PG (and I am 33 weeks tomorrow). Poor hubby has been great about it and we definitely have a strong relationship still..just haven't felt 100% and haven't been in the mood and the thought of BDing with a baby in there kind of freaks me out!
I am probably the only person who is like this though

I'm 25 weeks and we've done the deed about 5-6 times since finding out. You're not alone! Two of these times were during our babymoon last week...I think being away helped me get in the mood.
I've had minimal desire and to be honest DH is freaked out and doesn't want to risk hurting the baby (all in his head).

I made sure I ok'd everything with my RE and then OB and both said it was perfectly fine, we have not had any issues thankfully but if you dont feel like you are ready yet then don't, you have to feel comfortable

Nope your not alone!!!!! With my first baby we didnt the entire 9 months. With this baby im currently 17 weeks and still havent My dh is 100% understanding when i am pregnant he and I are nervous wrecks so we are in the same frame of mind thank god

okay so you can but can you actually have an orgazm? the reaso i ask is we as women can have sex technically but not peak...and i worry that having an O would cause cramping/pain and possibly something bad?
i know i know i know but humor me...thoughts?

yes, you can certainly O . what would be the point? LOL, seriously, if you are concerned though definitely double check with your OB, eventhough I knew the answer I would always ask him.

i did IVF and my RE said it was fine to . i also had brown spotting from weeks 7-9 we did it pretty consistently until the third tri when it started to get uncomfortable. enjoy yourself and stop worrying!!

I think Im alone on this one but with the 1st and apparently now with #2 its DH that is freaked out about 
Right now I have no desire but I know that will change but especially once I start to really show he is afraid too I dont know why he has been told its fine from the dr and me but still
everyone feels bad for poor DHs...I feel bad for me...and if I aint getting any he aint getting anything

We where told to abstain for 11 weeks since I was having alot of bleeding and was using progestrone suppositories until then. It didn't matter anyway. I was too sick to do anything.

My RE told us to wait awhile before . The first time we did after we got the OK at around 10 weeks or so, I had some spotting and refused to for a while after that because I was nervous. But now we do and its better than ever. sorry TMI

Did you ever see the movie The Backup Plan??? If not, watch it. There is a sex scene in there that cracks me every time. I know its a movie but it's pretty accurate (in my case)

Wow, this thread made me feel so much better! DH and I havent DTD since I got my BFP and Im 8wk 3days pregnant. I feel so bad for him but Im soooo paronoid! I think its mainly because the last time we had sex I started bleeding and had a MC the next day. I know it was just coincidence but theres no way I have the desire for sex right now with that fear in me. Also, I have the worst MS right now so even if the Dr. told me go for it I feel too  to do a damn thing! Im so glad I have an understanding husband. If you dont feel comfortable doing it just yet then dont.

We went through IVF and I have to wait for my first sono at 6 weeks. I then got the go ahead...and we have a few times since then, and everything is fine
