Re: Set it and forget it MACHINE??????????

I tried to sell mine in a garage sale, but no takers.

I thought it was a pain since I have no room for it on my counters; I'd have to drag it up from the basement whenever I used it. And we generally just made whole chickens or turkey breasts in it. I tried lobster tails once (because I think they do them in the infomercial) but they did not come out good.

My aunt brought one to our Christmas gathering and made two chickens in it.

They were soooo good! My DD ate like 4 servings. I'd get one if I had the room for it!

we have one (the smaller one). we love it. Well, DH cooks with it, and we both eat from it and the food comes out SO good!. Chicken is juicy, Prime rib is cooked evenly and to perfection... it really is easy to use.

We have one. We love it. We've made chicken, lobster tails, fish, chicken wings (they come out awesome), hamburgers (didn't like those so much compared to a BBQ). Takes up counter space, but totally worth it to us.

We have one and love it for salmon - we only take it out when we use it b.c it takes up a lot of room - but it makes great salmon - if you just sprinkle on some cajun seasoning and slice up a lemon and put it in the basket with the fillets - it comes out like cajuned salmon in restaurants - it keeps it moist - not dried out and my DH loves it. We have made a few whole roasted chickens which is very easy too - we just stuff it with some lemons and rosemary - honestly it is very easy - and the food comes out very good and not dried out.

Re: Set it and forget it MACHINE??????????

I have one and I LOVE it. I used to just make whole chickens in them, but found it makes great steaks and chicken cutlets. I marinate chicken or steak and throw it in there, set it and forget it! Chat Icon Its very important to follow the cooking directions for times in the book that comes with it, though. Its very easy to overcook cutlets in there.

Re: Set it and forget it MACHINE??????????

We have the George Foreman one, same idea, and whole chickens, roast beefs and prime ribs come out awesome. Like everyone else said they are a bit cumbersome and take up alot of space

Re: Set it and forget it MACHINE??????????

we have one and while we have not used it in a while, we love it.

the meat comes out great. My DH is better at setting it up than me, so that's why it has not gotten used lately (I have been doing most of the cooking).
