Sergio's in Massapequa
Hi. I'm thinking about booking the Christening party for my DS there. Does anyone have any thoughts on the place? I've only eaten food from there once, but it was good. The price for a party is great. But, we're going to have around 60 people and it looks kinda small. Any info would be great!

My brother and sil had their reheasal dinner there. The service and food were great! I think they had about 30-40 people. The room was comfy.

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
Been to numerous parties there (my brother has used it at least four times that I can think of and a few other people). The food is delicious, the staff do a great job. Michael is always checking to make sure everything is done good. Only had one time were a party before us ran over and were really rude about taking their time leaving. Michael apologized about 100 times and I *believe* compensated my brother.

Does "comfy" mean they may have a problem accomodating 20-30 more people, lol

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
I've been there for a shower and another party and 60 sounds very tight for that room IMO. I have heard they had good prices though. Did you try Katie Daly's a little further east on Merrick Rd? I had a party there for my DH a few yrs ago and it was reasonable and the private room was a good size.

I went to a baby shower there and it was really good. There were probably about 40 people though. Maybe slightly more, maybe slightly less.

I think for 60 it may be doable, but, a bit tight.

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
I had my twins 1st Birthday there and I don't recommend it. The food was great but it was way too crowded. The price was really good but your guests won't be comfortable and forget about it if you have kids there. They don't have patience for them. The owner Michael, promised the world and did not follow through.
I would never have a party there again!
