Secretary Gift Card Amount
Is $50 gift card too cheap for the holidays? 5 of us share one secretary although she is a direct report to my boss.

If there's five of you, I would think each could contribute $20 and then get her a $100 gift card. Being a secretary for five people is a lot so I think that's what I would do, in your position.

Thanks! I should have noted that the people in my group are alittle strange with this stuff. They don't like to combine. Me and another person were thinking of doing $50 each. I have no idea what my boss gives and the other two people are very cheap and may not give anything.

I think this at a minimum.
I work directly for my partners but in addition I work for 3 people, they usually put $50-100 together for me each

I work as an administrator in a school and we chip in so that each secretary gets $150. each contribution is about $75.

In my office, secretaries work for multiple attorneys. I think each attorney gives $50 plus they get an additional gc from all attorneys as one big gift card.

When I was a secretary in a law firm I worked for a partner and then a few associates. Each associate would give $150-200 either cash or gift card and then the partner would give $500. Anything is appreciated though.

Secretary Gift Card Amount
I'm a secretary to 6 attorneys. Some of them are very generous, some of not so much.
$50 would be a nice gesture from someone I don't do much for. If you're a PITA throughout the year I'd be more generous (my PITA is extremely generous because he knows he's a PITA). This is also assuming the secretary does a good job.

Thanks! That was my thought process - my secretary doesn't do a whole lot for me. Prints maybe 25 letters a year on my letterhead, files and orders any supplies I might need.
I am very friendly with her though, which does make it tough. I wish I could give more but the holidays are so tough with gift giving...
