I knew this would happen. The billing was "Last play at Shea" but it also said Billy Joel will be the Last Artist to play Shea.
I got great tickets to the 1st show but I'm a little peeved it's not the actual LAST show. I wouldn't be as upset if the scheduled the 2nd show for a date before the one I got. 
Ohh.. well, I am glad that people that couldn't get tix. will have a chance.

i'm ******... i bought tickets to the first one thinking it was the last concert at Shea. 
so i guess i will have to get tickets to this one too!

i'm sooo with you on this... i think all you girls that were lucky enough to get tickets should be rejoicing in the streets!  i'd give anything to get to see him at shea, i don't care if it's the wednesday night show, friday night show or if they add a 7am sunday morning show  i just want to go, and i don't have the kind of ridiculous money to spend on it that people are trying to sell them for on ebay and stubhub. i think it's so obnoxious that people buy 52 dollar seats, taking them away from people who just want to go, and can't afford to spend hundreds on a single seat in the nosebleed section. it shouldn't even be allowed. honest to god, if we are lucky enough to get through and get seats this saturday morning, and we are able to buy extras - i will be selling them for face value to people who really just want to go, not looking to make a buck.

ITA w/ you on this!!!! Billy joel--- shea stadium--- who cares what #!!!!! I just have to get tickets now- I was out of town when both tickets went on sale...

I heard it is rain or shine unless there is lightning!
We got through and purchased 6 tickets for the second show on Saturday!!! I am so excited!!!
