Sea Cliff
Anyone live there?
I'm looking for recommendation on the best places to go for things like pizza, Chinese, mani/pedi, barber shop, etc.
My parents are new to the town and I said I would ask around for some recommendations. They live in an old Victorian over by St. Boniface.

Re: Sea Cliff
i work in glen cove, which is right down the road. there are a lot of nice restaurants and shops in the town of glen cove. if you go onto School Street there is the downtown cafe (wraps, salads, etc) and they opened their own pizzeria next door, la familigia and marra's (both italian), american cafe (sandwiches, burgers), henry's diner, fatty fish (japanese), page one (italian) and another chinese food restaurant on that block.
i do know that you aren't far from north shore farms (glen cove ave). they aren't cheap, but they have everything and it's really good too! in the shopping center by CVS there is tex mex (mexican), chinese food, greek food and i think their nail salon is pretty good too.
if you go past the fire house on glen cove ave and keep traveling down there is the bagel cafe, which is really good for bagels, sandwiches and chopped salads! HTH

Re: Sea Cliff
there is a pizza place right in the heart of sea cliff.. then there are 100's in glen cove (right down the rd) sea cliff bagel cafe is great (by the schools) u can pretty much find any type of cuisine in Glen Cove. the best chinese is either china king or china palace in GC. cheapest (nice service) nail place is angel tips in waldbaums parking lot... or closer to their house is a nail place in CVS parking lot forgot name). i also think there is a ail place in the heart of sea cliff (if it still exists) small, pricey. anything else?

Re: Sea Cliff
Thank you! I will pass along the info to them! They love the area, they just moved there from the south shore, but are familiar in general with the area since my mom works in Port Washington. They just can't believe after living almost 35 years in the same place, they need to find new stores!
