Did store employees sign up for this? (Especially to make minimum wage?) the list could go on.
The schools should not be closed. There is no reason. They are going above and beyond with precautions compared to other sectors.

While I know plenty of teachers have stayed home I also know a bunch of very vocal ones that do not want to go back but have been out partying like crazy. Beach, boat, fire island. Those are the ones that are the problem IMO.
Yes. One of the most vocal took her daughter to Sesame Place for her 3rd birthday, after spending everyday saying she fears for her life if she is forced back to school.
Another teacher has been all over FB posting pictures of her family out east, at restaurants, playgrounds, splash pads, and pool playdates. But she is scared to go back to work. Those who are truly scared are still staying home and socially distancing.

I am trying to find a place to go to tonight. Sit down, outdoor preferred. I can't find anything at any place I want to go to. One10, Pomodorino, Besito. All booked. On a Monday.

No, it has nothing to do with protestors. Stop saying dumb shitt.

Yeah I saw that. Watched the video. Heard that tidbit about the watermelon and was like 
Glad I googled the restaurant before calling and making a blind reservation. I didn't even know it happened.

Schools can open
for those asking if i should have my own set of supplies. 1. it's insane to go room to room with that stuff and 2. the DOE decided not to give us teacher's choice money this year. Teacher's choice is money given to us to buy supplies for ourselves/classroom. So on the one year that is arguably the MOST IMPORTANT year to have money for essentials, we get no money. All comes out of my pocket...

Thank you for acknowledging that some teachers continue to take this seriously. I am one of those. We quarantined for 14 days in July so we could travel to see my family. We have been to the park and pool but only during off times when it is not crowded and we can socially distance. We have had no play dates. We went out to eat once at 4:30 pm and we were the only people eating at the restaurant outside. I post pictures on FB showing us doing things but we’re still being strict about distancing even though we do venture out into public places.
