Scheduled C section mommies, a question

I went to the OB on Monday and he said they were going to schedule my c-section. How long did it take for the doctor to get back to you with a firm date and time

I am going crazy waiting, I just want to know my date,......I only have 4 weeks left Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Scheduled C section mommies, a question

At my last visit (30 weeks) I brought up the scheduled repeat c/section question to my obgyn and at the end of the appointment he walked with me to the front office and personally called the hospital to schedule the c/section. The woman on the other end asked him things like my EDD, my b-day, whether I had a previous c/section, my name, and my insurance info.

He then asked the woman on the other end what time slots were available for the date I wanted and he asked me if the first one of the day was ok with me. Chat Icon Of course, b/c that means I have everyone fresh and I don't have to deal with thinking about breakfast.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Same here. I had the c-section date by the end of my appointment.

You have to be kidding me! I am scheduled for the end of September and my hospital in NJ had the schedule available. September is less than a month away how can they not have it available?!?!

Perhaps it is your obgyn whose schedule is not set Chat Icon

I thought that but when I was at my appointment on Monday, the doctor told me who was on call the 3 possible c section days (which are 9/9 (my FIRST CHOICE), 9/8 and 9/4) so they must know the on call schedule

this is annoying me to no end Chat Icon
