scared..
I am so happy to have gotten my BFP but today I am finding myself completely freaking out. I am so scared of another loss...I don't think I will be able to survive going through that again. Before today i was feeling so optimistic, had a great feeling about this pregnancy, but then my DH told me he was really scared and it just got me feeling anxious..

Aww, Im so sorry that you are feeling this way. It is expected to be scared after already experiencing a loss. Remember, that ever pregnancy is different. Try to stay optimistic

Re: scared..
do you know the source of the loss the first time? for me, i had two early losses before this one stuck. however my RE determined the most likely causes for the losses and we treated them. that didn't make the first 12 weeks of this pregnancy any easier, but at least i knew we were doing all we could to make this one stick.
its def nerve wracking after you've had a loss, and im not going to say the nervousness ever goes away - it just changes. but just remember it will all be worth it in the end!! good luck!

I actually didn't call and make an appt yet, the last two times I called immediately and then never got a chance to go to my first appt and I guess subconsciously I'm nervous to make the appt. I am def going to call tmrw and hopefully he will see me soon!

My first pregnancy was a chemical and we did not find out the cause of the second m/c...which makes things even scarier I guess. My doc didnt push for us to do any testing, he thought it would be best to just try again, as there was prob no real "cause" for the m/c

Re: scared..
What you are feeling is completely normal. Before this pregnancy, I also had 2 losses early on (6w and 9w) -- My dr. sent me for testing but there was no cause. The one thing they did tell me was to make an appt. ASAP once I got a BFP again so that they could monitor me right away. I was terrified of going through the same thing again but once we saw the heartbeat (had never seen this with the previous 2) I felt better, every time I waited for an appt. to come I would go from optimistic to a nervous wreck but once I would go to the dr and everything was ok I felt better. It will be a rollercoaster, I won't lie but once you reach a certain point you will breathe again.
I wish you all the best and a healthy 9 months.

Re: scared..
i have been really scared since getting my bfp and I haven't had a previous loss so I can only imagine how scary it is for you since you have. I would make the dr. appt so they can start monitoring you.

Re: scared..
Its natural to go from being super happy to super scared Don't worry.. everything will be ok and work out I got my BFP the day before you, and I can't tell you how many times I have freaked out in the past week. I'm going to for my bloodwork at the end of the week.. and every possible scenario is going through my head. for you

Re: scared..
I think I am going to feel the same way when I get a bfp again too. We started trying and I'm okay now and feel optimistic but I know once I get pregnant I'll probably freak.
I made it to 9 weeks, previously saw a heartbeat at 6. Had testing done and no "reason" for the cause that I can be treated for next time. So it's really a crapshoot.
Hang in there. I'll pray for you

Re: scared..
Also, I wanted to say this to you because its been said to me many times since my loss. You will worry about every pregnancy so try not to go overboard with the worrying just because you had a miscarriage. There is a chance for a good and bad pregnancy everytime with every woman. It is normal to have worries and fears but don't let them consume you. I know that is what I'll be telling myself. I shouldn't worry any more than I did the first time around.
Lots of good luck for this one
