It was horrible. The speech by Papa Pope was a disgrace. So sad that the only good guy died and it made no sense how Jake gets blamed for everything and not Cyrus.
I mostly agree , except I thought Papa Popes speech was the best part of the show! I was laughing hysterically during it! But I always loved his long winded monologues, they make me laugh!
The speech was ridiculous bc once again Shonda had to make it a black man vs white man issue like she loves to do. If half her racist comments were said by white pple there would be hell to pay.
The more I thought Abt the finale the more I hated it. And alluding that Olivia became President? Horrible!!
They were all murderers and the only good guy really paid the price.
When did they allude Olivia became President?? I've watched the episode twice and didn't see that.
At the end her portrait was on the wall of presidents.
yes, the two young girls were looking at Olivia's portrait on the wall..
It was in the National Portrait gallery and earlier in the season Fitz was asked if he would like Olivia's picture featured as part of his administration and he said yes.

Yes, it was one of the first few episode I think this season.
I hated it also! So unrealistic that the "fixer" would have a portrait along with the President & First Lady.

Scandal - Final Season
I thought it was a terrible finale and a terrible last season. There is no way after having that much power they are all going to live happily ever after and give it all up. So basically nothing changed except getting Jake in jail. Her picture in the hall was ridiculous. Especially the portrait that they shown. It's not the cover of Vogue. I was very disappointed.

I finally watched last night- I was totally disappointed! I hate that feeling- like you put so much time into a show and that's how they leave it....
Other shows that have broken my heart- Seinfeld, Lost, Mad Men, How I met your mother...
