Saw My Doctor Again Today...
Well I saw another dr. at my group. He doesn't do internals normally but did one on me since he was covering for my dr. who is on vacation.
Anyway, he didn't even go far enough in to reach my cervix so I dont even know if I'm progressing at all. Last I knew 2 wiks ago I was 2cm and 80% effaced.
Then I was off to have my weekly growth sono. The baby is between 7.5-8 lbs and in the 90th percentile. The dr. who did the sono said that I have a TON - huge amount - of amniotic fluid and she is calling my OB today to discuss inducing me - possibly later this week!! She said with all this fluid it is much safer to induce and have a slow, controlled breaking of my water rather than let me go on my own and possibly have a HUGE gush which could A) separate the placenta and cause bleeding, or B) cause problems with the baby and the cord.
I told her I'm ready NOW, bags are packed - just give me the sign and I'm there!
Hopefully I'll know by tomorrow or Wednesday. Oh and I have another sono pic from today even though its not the greatest since she is so big. I'll try to post it.

best of luck Kathy, my girlfriend is bein induced on Wednesday. She isnt due till May 10th, but her blood pressure is so HIGH that the DR. was worried.
