Save-A-Pet has a storefront in Port Jeff!
We went to PJ to get some ice cream and of course brought our furkid with us. 
There's a little cobbled square on the corner of Main and 25A where there used to be a pet store named Yuppy Puppy. I confess, we had been in there once before but weren't impressed. Not only are they now gone, but Save-A-Pet now has a storefront there!
We saw doggie stuff out on the sidewalk and went to look. Once I found out it was Save-A-Pet, I knew I just HAD to buy stuff! 
I got a magnet in the shape of a paw print that says "As a matter of fact the world does revolve around my dog"  which is up on the fridge now. Three bones - two with cheese and peanut butter filling. A keychain that says "Leave a greener pawprint" and made a donation to them at the same time.
They have dogs and cats there that need adopting (one that got along with Brinkley verrrrry well ) lots of t-shirts, mugs, magnets, leashes, collars. Something for everyone!
Then we went to get ice cream and let Brinkley lick his own vanilla ice cream cone. He loved it! Great afternoon.

I absolutely love that place. You can tell they will do anything for the welfare of animals
