I was watching a talk show once where this plastic surgeon was on discussing his procedures to make your hands look younger.
I am shocked that more of these celebs haven't gone for that.

I think some of this is genetic, though. I am approaching 50 and my hands don't look like that at all. Neither do any of my friends' hands, all women of different shapes and sizes.

My hands and lower arms have always been veiny, especially if I have them down low. My kids ask me why I have those blue lines in my hands & arms.  The irony is I always liked that about my hands and arms. I thought it was cool.   If I lift my hands above my shoulders, you can watch the veins disappear (no bulge).
In SJP's case, along with Angelina Jolie, I think the fact that they're so thin amplifies it...but I also think they have a genetic predisposition to their veins bulging/showing like that.

Sans her hands I think she looks great for her age (she's almost 50)...IMO looks better than some of the not yet 40 year olds I know.
I don't think she's your stereo typical definition of "beauty" but I do think she is very cute/attractive.
