Re: Salvation Army Angel Tree
This year Salvation Army teamed up with JC Penney and now you have the ability too go online and find a local child and pick the age group you are looking for as well.

Re: Salvation Army Angel Tree
I just adopted an angel - a 1 month old little girl
I got her some clothes and blankets.
I did this last year too. It's so easy!

Re: Salvation Army Angel Tree
I went online to JCP to sign up to give a gift and I requested the 5-10 age group. The first 2 kids that showed up wanted a PS3 and a gameboy. I kinda stopped looking after that and figured I'd donate on here. I was going to do winter wishes but I'd really like to give back to my community.

If you don't purchase through jcp, how do you get the gifts to them?

Re: Salvation Army Angel Tree
Kmart usually has a tree set up with tags on it. I'm not sure if they have it this year. You could call.

Re: Salvation Army Angel Tree
I usually pick a senior for the JCP Angel. I figure most people pick the kids and the older people have more practical things on their list, such coats, pjs, etc.

I believe they will give you an angel "number" and address to ship it to. You get free shipping if you purchase from JCP though.

Re: Salvation Army Angel Tree
I just signed up at JCPenney. It was so easy. I also donated a gift to a little girl through the Winter Wishes program. My DD is always so blessed and so fortunate at Xmas that I thought it would be nice to give another little kid a special Xmas too. So happy I signed up to help!
