Yup, as young as 3 or 4 months, they are totally safe.

It's completely fine, I've been using them on DS before 3 mos he was soo congested he could hardly breath in the mornings from the dry heat in the house. But beware at any age they HATE it with a passion.

Re: Saline Drops in infants?
We've used them, they were recommended by the pediatrician. Its the only thing we can really do when they are so little. Some doc say to suck the boogies out but my ped said to just put the drops in and leave the boogies in there, they'll come out on their own.

Re: Saline Drops in infants?
i just spoke to my ped about this today b/c DS is so damn stuffed. they said it was fine up to 3x a day.
they also said to stick him in the bathroom while taking a hot shower (or just run the hot shower..whichever) to help open him up.

Re: Saline Drops in infants?
Yes, I give DD Little Nosies every days since she was 1 month (she's 4 months now). If she has boogies I suck them out with the bulb. Otherwise, I just give the drops to moisten her up. She had gone to an ENT Dr. and they recommended this when she was first born...

Re: Saline Drops in infants?
I tried it with dd but it made her gag and spit up everywhere when she was about a month old. After that I started using a squirt of milk instead. I sound like a weirdo but it works and doesn't make her gag. I pump every morning so I just leave a little a side when she is stuffy and use a medicine dropper to squirt it up.
