Re: Saf T Swim
The bellmore location is one level so if you have a little one or use a stroller it's easier. I think parking can be tough.
The east meadow one is inside a nysc, and you have to go downstairs. No elevator
That being said, I've been going to the east Meadow one for four years- and I live in Plainview. I love the staff there. I love how they talk to and interact with the kids. We've had 3 diff instructors and they were all so nice.

Wondering, how old did you start your children off with swimming lessons? My husband thought we should start this summer- but we were so busy wiht actual activities - (and I was fine to hold her in any body of water) I didn't think it was necessary to stop for lessons for a 2 year old. Figuring i may start any day now though...

Re: Saf T Swim
We started my big guy just after he turned 2- partly cuz we also looked at it as a physical therapy session (he had PT since 18 months). We kept going cuz I think it's important and still good exercise.
We now have a two year old who is very physical but haven't signed him up yet. Two reasons- a) i kinda thought two was young and b)didn't have the energy to get them both ready to go and ready to leave lol. Poor second child.

lol- poor second child. I hear that a lot. There are probably a lot less well-known benefits to being a second (parents who are a lot more chilled out!)! Yes, part of my being slow to this is my daughter is in gymnastics and I work outside the home- so dragging her all over for regimented lessons seems exhausting for her and me!

Were there adults from NYSC at the EM location? That's what I'm concerned about, especially since we're doing weekend lessons.
