Roundabout v. Marathon?
It looks like the Roundabout is rated better than the Marathon by Consumer Reports (and it's cheaper). Any opinions? I have the Marathon but considering returning it and using the extra $$ toward a second convertible seat for DH's car. TIA

I love my Roundabout. It's easy to install and we travel a lot so its easier to deal with at airports. It is plenty big enough- by the time she is grown out of it, she will be ready for a booster seat anyway.

Re: Roundabout v. Marathon?
THe only real difference is the Marathon goes up to 60 lbs. I went with the marathon since my DD is on the big side.

Re: Roundabout v. Marathon?
Thanks - maybe I'll get one of each since I need a second convertible seat for DH's car (come fall when baby goes to daycare).

Re: Roundabout v. Marathon?
I have the Roundabout because it was rated better. DS is still in infant seat at almost 10 months, so I haven't used it yet.

Re: Roundabout v. Marathon?
I spoke to the girl at BRU and she explained them all to me. What she said was ...
The Roundabout does NOT have the side impact bars that the Marathon does. That was the major difference.
The Decathalon, she said you're paying for the extra cushioning...no side impact bar.
The Boulevard, has the head support which can NOT be removed. I felt that to be a little weird if DD wanted to look side to side, it might annoy her.
I went with the Marathon.
