Rough day....
I was really hoping for a BFP this weekend, but AF made an appearance yesterday  I have been trying to be positive about the whole TTC process, but today was really rough. While we were opening presents with my step daughter I was reminded how much I want to be a mom. My DH went shopping for a xmas cards and since they didn't have step mom card he picked up a mom card for my step daughter to give me to. He was so excited for me to see the card. When I started to read it I started to cry. He thought it was because I was touched, but the honest reason I was crying was because my step daughter, who is 11yrs old scribbled out mom everywhere it was written on the card and wrote my name. Usually that wouldn't bother me, however today it just reminded me that I am not a mom and want to be one more than ever. I have been crying all day today. I have never wanted something so bad in my life. I am sure many of you feel the same way. Well onto a new month. Hope January is the month

 I am so sorry that happened, I feel awkward just reading about it. You should pick up a card that isn't scratched out and hold onto it for a day hopefully soon that it will be needed.

i am right there with you... i'm finding it very hard to be in the christmas spirit, when the only thing i wanted all year long, no one could deliver, not even santa  may 2012 be a better year for us

AF ruined my Christmas too  knowing your out for the month is bad enough but finding out during the holidays makes it feel worse. Someday you'll get a Mom card from your child and hopefully someday your SD will also give you a mom card without any cross outs.

I'm right there with you too!! Af ruined everything about Christmas this year!! I want more than anything to be a mom! I was trying to hold back tears when my nieces and nephews were opening up gifts.. I envisioned going through that next year with my little one..we are I. This together!!! I know it will happen!!! Stay positive and keep that head up!! Next month will be our month!!!!

I completely understand. I have a step son and he has done the same thing or been hell bent about not getting me a mom card. It has been hard especially after we started trying. Hang in there. It will get better, even with your step daughter.

Awww.. I totally understand how that might bring on the tears

I really thought after all these years (been with DH since she was 3yrs old) that things would have changed, especially since we are now very close. I can only hope that it will get better someday with her.
