room for one more? =)
Hello Ladies,
Ive been peeking in on you all and wanted to join in on a few chats! =) I am 39 and am a sub-fertility patient of Dr. B's. Thats right - im not going to say infertility because Im hoping that this last transfer is working and that w/ Dr. B, God and all the other powers that be that my fertility is taking the upper hand!
I have a history of 1 failed fresh IVF (3 implanted) and then 3 natrual pregs that all m/c. One at 8 weeks, one ectopic, and one blighted ovum. But before that IVF we were 8 years with nothing - so just the fact that I got preg was encouraging enough for me to stay optomistic.
I just finished a transfer on the 18th and they put in 2 5day embies. American Fertility is a bit different than SIRM huh? But Dr Vidali (was that it - or am I confusing him an onion? lol) was really nice.
OMG I cant stand the 2ww!! really 10 days since the preg test is on the 26th!!! I think Im gonna be bad though and POS tomorrow am! I cant help it! And I know you guys have cuz Ive seen the posts about looking for that faint pink line! And IM feeling symptoms that i felt with past pregnancies - sore belly, cant keep the pants buttoned etc. Hope Im not reading too much into things and that its not just a sx of the meds to thicken the lining, but we'll see what 2moro brings.
Hope you dont mind that I chime in from time to time! these message boards sure help us through all of this stuff!

Welcome! I'm also in the 2ww and finding out on Thursday...will go late on Wed eve to DR. B for the blood work. I totally agree with you about American Fertility, they were not that great. I much preferred SHER institute. There I was expecting my little valium pill and was told that there was no way I getting any valium ! lol they even complained that I had a full bladder! oh well, nobody told me otherwise! Lets hope this is it...good luck on the 26 th...

So I didnt wait - POS not encouraging
Thanks so much for the warm welcome and encouragments!  Its nice to be with similiar minded women who get the frustrations and drive to succeed in this area - one way or another!
So i caved - POS. Dont know why I did that!  Of course it was negative - but its early I guess - at least thats what Im telling myself. I have so much stomach bloating and tenderness and it feel like I have in past pregnancies (even constipated - i know! TMI, but its a big sx with my pregnancies) so i thought that if there was enough horomones to be creating the symptoms that for sure it would show up - but NO!  DH is not impressed either - says it just added on extra stress . . oh the common sense in my man!
Im just going to wait till Wed and see what happens.
Tomorrow is my re-draw to check the NK elevation and then I can do another intralipids. DH is a paramedic and does it at home so that cuts cost.
Good luck to you all as well - some with big decisions to make and others also in the 2ww. Wishing us all lots of baby dust - however they come to us.

ya the place was just not as professional and no V! lol
But I did like the Dr a bit better and liked that they encouraged my to stay in the room longer. At SIRM I felt kind of rushed after to up and leave.
OH well - Dr B is worth the move =)
