Rock.....me....hard place
lol......
sometimes i get so sad and cry at the thought of leaving my apartment next month, sometimes i am so elated...this is where i had my 2 girls, right across the street is the hospital that i walked to to give birth....there are just so many memories, now i am just trying to capture everthing i can...i am going to miss the food, the CHOICES, the bar, the people, the fact that my BF is down the street, the fact that hannahs BF (my BFs daughter) is down the street...the fact i wont be able to just walk to their house anymore.....but on the slip side, well have an amazing house to have BBQs and birthdays and dinners and GTGs....just tough, leaving this place that holds the most special memories for us....
and this too......this tree, that poor old greg (jewish) bought for me 4 years ago, never bought or decorated a tree in his life- got me some chincy $40 tree from target- who wouldve thought we'd be celebrating chrtismases with the same tree 4 years later with 2 kids.......and this is this trees last christmas...these are the things i think about all the time
my last everything here in mineola...thanks for letting me share...

as someone who is celebrating their first chritmas in a new house - I can tell you that although we loved our little tree - Our big tree is amazing and we were so excited to buy a tree bigger than 6 ft!
I did have plans for putting the little tree up in another room, but we had to throw it out.
You will LOVE having your own home!!!!

but summer think of all the firsts in the new house... and it will be even more exciting......
and yeah my mind went a lil dirty (your first nite to the the horizontal monkey dance) to the emerson taking her first steps... is that a lil bad??

 I teared up a little myself reading your post. I've made a few big moves in my life so far and it is definitely bitter sweet. I really like this line from a song that was popular a few years back.
"Every new beginning comes from some other new beginnings end."

me too, we have a small house and we always talk about how sad it will be when we move one day...we got it just beofre being married, had out first DS here...so sad...

What a nice story and beautiful photo - everything about it makes me happy, the paint color, the lights, the tree, decorations, and the artwork!!!!
You'll have incredible memories of mineola and I'm sure they're beautifully documented!!!!! Great memories are priceless (and portable!!) Good luck with your new home in 2009!!
