Rocking while sitting?

Kaitee has been sitting well since she turned 5 months old. She just started rocking back and forth while sitting. I thought maybe its bacause she just started to get on all four and rock back and forth. I have never seen a baby do this. Has any of your babies done this?

Re: Rocking while sitting?

Do you mean side to side or front to back? Ellie rocks side to side all the time. it's her little way of dancing. She does it when there's music on or one of her toys is singing. At Gymboree her teacher said this a good sign b/c it means that they're recognizing and learning rhythm and they consider that a developmental skills b/c it helps them when they learn to walk b/c we all walk to a certain rhythm.
