Robitussen question?

i know that the robitussen works cause it thins out your CXM - but in deannas plan it said to make sure that the robitussen is an exporant and not an anthestimine (sp?) --- so after i took mine last night i read the bottle and it said exporant, cough suppresant and nasal decongestant..... is the nasal decongestant an anthestimine>

is that bad? did i dry me up? if anyone had any ideas that would be great!

Yes, a nasal decongestant will dry you out. You need to get just the plain old guaifenesin formula. Most retailers sell it as a generic brand as well, so you don't have to spend the extra money on name brand Robitussin.

Also, regular Mucinex is made with guaifenesin and comes in a pill form.
